dj NIMBUS is no stranger to the underground music scene. As a kid growing up in Austin Tx, he has been attached to music from birth. Whether it was his musical inclination that led him to play a trombone, or the pursuit for finding the newest releases beginning in 1986, his ear for music has kept him at the forefront of his artistry. The interest in dj'ing manifested itself in the earlier years in the form of compilations put together over the years from his extensive library. In later years, after moving to Houston Tx, he would finally master the turntables and don the name NIMBUS to represent the power and soothing nature of his music in comparison to a thunderstorm cloud aka THE NIMBUS. His musical palate spans from acid jazz, lounge, downtempo, underground hip hop, broken beat, but resonates most in HOUSE  MUSIC. Whether it be disco, deep, classic, soulful, latin, tribal, afro or progressive, dj NIMBUS has the range to cover it all and blend multiple formats in a artistic manner to keep your body moving!

dj NIMBUS has performed across the United States, as well international locations such as Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, Turks & Caicos Islands & Nassau Bahamas. Many stages have been shared with headliners and celebrities in the course of his career. Some of those people range from President Obama, Erykah Badu, Rakim, Black Thought of The Roots, Ali Shaheed Muhammad of A Tribe Called Quest, The Pharcyde, Vikter Duplaix, Oscar P, Lisa Shaw, Chuck Love, dj Kemit, and many others. Some of the events partaken in range from Winter Music Conference, Mi Casa Holiday, The International Soul Music Summit, The Indie Soul Festival and the I Got Soul Music Summit.
