House Music is often given credit to it's birthplace as Chicago, which while some may argue New York is truly the origins, we would like to show you how much influence the east has had on this midwest music. We also would like to show how much the midwest has reached the global and how many facets of this beautiful music has emerged as a result of the collision of two worlds [ NY meets CHI ].
New Jersey is home to some of the most soulful divas and house heads to create this music, so it's only fitting we bring you a taste of how they do it. First up is, New Jersey powerhouse, Dawud Johnson. You can catch him regularly spinning on air or in the local scene as well as abroad. Additionally, we have a transplant here in Houston from New Jersey / New York scene, Dj A.D. ( AD Wright ) who if you have not had the pleasure of hearing, brings it everytime! Tian Chi Chi is on rhythmic accent duty via live percussion, and you already know how he gets down. This show, is not to be missed!
