June is a special month for various groups. You have those who celebrate Juneteenth, those who celebrate Pride, those who celebrate birthdays, and those who celebrate the beginning of their summer break ( educators )! If you are any one of these said people, or just love great HOUSE MUSIC, join us for Exposure this month! We have a lethal line up! dj NIMBUS, founder of Exposure is joined by special guests, Morgan Morgan of Modern Day Cowboys, another staple of Houston's house music underground. He also is tied to a host of other music experiences here in Houston ( NRX ) and Austin as well at the Coconut Club. Additional support is provided by Indisco's & Dept of Dance's very own Chris Zane, who has also been a very active contributor to our house / disco dance scene here as well, both of which have events at The Flat. Our percussionist is none other than Ilya Janos, who also is no stranger to our house community. This month's event gives special recognition to the communities that made House Music possible from it's roots, which fall squarely on the shoulders of various groups celebrated this month, as well as those who have supported those people, past, present and future.
